Can someone help me out and find valve cover torque specs for a 02 explorer it has the v6 in it I believe. My aunt has 2 kids and can't run the heat without smelling oil.

They should be rubber and the valve cover will have a grove for the gasket to sit in. If they are cork, spread a little grease on the valve cover then put the gasket on. The grease will hold the gasket.
