factory 6 disc CD error

My 6 disc work flawlessly. But I still want a better head unit.

 

so here is an update. after yankin the neg cable for 2 min, it still didnt read the disc. ontop of that, everytime i start the truck up, the cd "initializes" and tries to find the cd. after about 10 tries, it finally kicked the cd out enough that i could grab it and i just yanked it out. wont be loading any more discs to say the least.

 

I got a factory 6 disc that hasn't had any issues that I swapped with my new head unit

 

This happens to me all the time, however I only have a 1 disc player. My cd jams and says no cd...usually a good hit on the front helps it, but it might just be mine.
