In my own imaginary world, where. Respect for wome
So I bought my truck new in May of 06. I still have the original factory battery, which I think is pretty good. 6+ yrs and still cranks right up. How long did your factory battery last?

For you aftermarket battery guys, how long have you gone w/ an aftermarket brand? list the brand and timeline please.

4 years for my Ford battery. About 3 1/2 for the Duralast Gold that was in it. I only had to pay 25.00 for the replacement battery so I can't complain.

The longest I've ever gotten out of a factory battery was my wife's old 2000 Beetle GLS. Her battery went out about 5 years after we bought it.

Wife's 2002 Mazda Tribute needed a new battery last month,
bought that vehicle new in November 2001.
I'd say 10 years + was pretty good
    for a Motorcraft battery.

I am on a optima red top as of now. Only 2 years on it so far. Got it so I would have plenty for all my lights / amps/ compressors/ alarm, stuff like that
