All the Craftsmen ratchets I have are 10 years or older. I have a couple that are 25 and 30 years old and they still work great. Not sure about the newer Craftsmen ratchets though. They look nice, but...

Dude, that's the truth! I use to frequent pawn shops looking for hand tools. There's tons of deals to be found in your local pawn shop.

I do this also. The most recent deal was a 18v cordless mikita drill, case, 2 batteries, charger, and a drill bit set for 50 bux. Most of my tools are AC Delco, s&k, Craftsman, and HF. Craftsman ratchets and sockets suck! The wrenches are pretty goo tho. I hate that they have sharp edges on the wrenches. Really hurts the hands when your breaking a bolt/nut loose.

In my own imaginary world, where. Respect for wome
Usually in this order: Sears, Lowes, HF. I shop at a few online places for specialty stuff but thats seldom really.

Don't understand how everyone says Craftsman Ratchets suck. I use mine for hammers even, and never an issue w/ them. My 1/4" did mess up, but again, I shouldn't have used it as a hammer. Had my set for 5 yrs now and no problems (except the "ghost lettering" is gone).
