That same yellow clip is on my 1974 Ford tailgate handle.

 

I may have to glance through that at work but I ain't seen that in my store

After looking closely at it, the ones I showed are different than the 1994 F150. Try these:
1987-2004 Ford F150 Door Lock Clip - Body Mechanical & Trim - Dorman, Tailgate 87-04 F150 Door Lock Clip - 5290-07016853 - PartsGeek
If that don't look like it, JB Weld dat sum beech n rod to the old clip and let harden for 24 hours.

 

I will get it fixed for sure...just gonna wait a lil bit since I ain't got the time this week, it's no big deal though, it ain't worked since November
