    I still have my egr system and stock head bolts.. Not the ford coolant though and the programmer I have is one of the best it was def worth every penny

    so they real problem was the coolant basically?

    Exactly you comepletely flush the factory coolant out and use another one like I have an you should be ok

    See you hear so much BS around the 6.0's....it's just hard to believe that they are all junk.

    i know a guy that works his hard everyday and all hes done is a alternator..he hauls a bobcat daily on a big trailer

    and other thing i think the 6.0 is one of my favorite body styles

    Haha yea I love this bodystyle too I used to think the same as alot of people about the 6.0s till I actually read up about um before I got mine

    Finally......some good comments on the 6.0. I love mine to death and like the others have said, in the right hands it is a great engine that can perform! A few mods will also help out a lot (mine's straightpiped). I got 152,000 miles on mine and it still drives like its new! and trust me, i don't go easy on it
