Looks like if you were to trim the F & D a little it would fit inside the grille.

    :hmm:

im actually surprised how much i like it, it already fits inside the first lip if he trims it anymore then itll reast on the fins on the grille istelf which will be hard to mount to and offer no lateral stability

My plan is to have it rhino lined. My problem is should I have it done in black rhino like the rest of my truck, or PTM DSG rhino????

Here is a quick rattle can spray + clear.

I can not decide if I like it black or if I should go DSG......

My main problem with it is how it sits off the grille. It looks good straight on, but from the side or top it's sticking out I'm sure. So for me personally, I'd have to trim it down or it would drive me crazy knowing it's not sitting flush with the existing grille. I'd just have to risk having no lateral support. Not to mention, if someone comes up and pushes on the center, it would bend I'm sure.

    I'd go DSG Jwal.

I have mocked up some spacers to make it conform to the contour of the grill. I used cardboard as you can see in the pic. Looks way better!

I am honestly stuck in the air on DSG or black..... I have the DSG paint So that's not a issue, it's just deciding.

Also considering slotting the grill on the sides at the end of the metal and sliding each end into the slot. Then some 3M tape on the back will secure it in place....

I painted it white so you could see it in the pics. This guy just let me put it on his truck. I purposely painted it white for it to stand out.

to be honest J.Wal I dont like it at all. I think the saleen grille by itself looks much cleaner and a lot more mean. I say scrap it brother!

I kinda have to agree. It brings down the look of your truck. But if you like it, ride on! :peace:
