borrowed allys jeep to go get a ball joint press, no luck so far. 3 seconds away from getting out the grinder to cut the joint off.

I should have just got the grinder right away, would have saved time. ahh well.

im going to have to finish in the am, on of the needle bearings fell on the face of the cap and got cracked in half. something always breaks, all I can do is laugh!

my buddy will give me a new joint and let me return the other. tried to salvage a bearing from the old joint but they were shorter and fatter.

Ended up changing both, having an issue with getting the shaft balanced. Any tips? I've got a bit of a wobble.

EDIT: found that the collar on the front slip yoke has been pushed off a little bit, have a feeling this is the issue. not sure how this happened, don't remember dropping or hitting that side while changing the joints. able to smack it back in place with a mallet?

Hopefully it's nothing serious. Last time I had a clunk in 4wd I ended up needing a new Tcase.

the clunk is heard in both 2 and 4wd. just sounds like something is loose.
