fuel mileage experiment

    yea but yours is the 4.6, 2wd, and a 99? either way it came with Pi heads and intake lol. and idk about your gears or anything but i have 3.31s or 3.55s. hoping its the second one hahaha. i could do e fans and cats later on and i know that will help it out too. maybe have to do a part 1 and part 2 to this experiment.

    Ever see that foreign car commercial, that it had dimpled belly pans?
    Or the car with dimples on the hood, fenders, roof, side panels and trunk?
    Think it was in Popular Mechanics, 11% gain in mileage?
    It was supposed to work like the aerodynamics of the dimples on a golf ball.
    Guess it never really worked well enough to become a vehicle standard.
    Heck we had them around here, the look of having been though a big hailstorm.

    im not gonna be dimpling my truck hahahahahaa

    but that sounds like it would work. golfballs get good gas mileage and thier fast with the right driver :jester:

    since july of 08. one of those years i was in high school drivin 20 miles a day. if i was doin what i do now id have a crap ton of miles

    i might. its gonna go on a few weeks so ill change it up and see what works and what doesnt. i may keep it goin til summer haha
