Really? That's really bad, like 7mpg, I figure 500mi on my 36gal tank to be safe.
He should check his air/fuel filters too, maybe get him a tuner. That really helped mine.

he only has the 26gal tank which i thought was kind of funny i have a 30gal and his truck was made for towing and he has a smaller tank so its right around 9-10 MPG :(
I am pretty sure it the plugs they have at the least 85K on them cause they may have been changed when his COPs went bad at the worst they have 120K on them
because his truck used to get around 13

Ok, that would make sense. I figure anything above 13mpg is good enough, anything above 15mpg is a miracle!

Yeah, your larger tires lower your rear gears. I'm guessing you have 3.55s? The formula to find your new ratio is (30/33)*3.55, which = 3.23s, awesome for mileage. You would need 3.90s to be back to stock rpms.

Typically 16-18 or so. I hit 19 every once in a GREAT while.

Now that it is cold, and I am mostly just driving to work and back... like 9-11 :(

    I voted 13-15.

    Typically it's about 14-14.5mpgs.

Of course this is strictly city driving, as I rarely get on the highway. But when I do, my highway is typically between 17-19mpgs.
