I have a 1990 4.9 300 i6 ford f150 that starts and runs but it loses fuel pressure when u shut it off. The truck has sat for several years but once u get it started it runs fine once u get it started untill I kill it then it loses fuel rail pressure immediately. I've replaced the fuel pump filter pressure regulator what else could cause it to lose pressure ...no smoke but exhaust does smell gassy

it sounds like you have a leak in one of the fuel lines or a loose connection
