looking into changing my instrument cluster on my '99 scab. Looking for one with a tach. so my question is: when i find one and swap it out is my odometer gonna read the same? do the miles save to the computer and then transmit to the digital readout or is it saved on the cluster it self?

you will have to take it to a dealer and they set your new one to match your truck , i think this costs like $100 , ive heard of people doin it before

Dealer will have to change the mileage and match the vin or it will not run. I would just add a small tach.

just did and its too much of a pain. you have to have the PATS reprogrammed and then the dealerships wont change the odometer
