    the top thing looks like a capacitor, but i have no idea really lol

    Yep 4 farad cap 4 gauge amp kit and a new MB Quart 1.1000d amp..

    Jarrett generally speaking yes ported would hit harder but not have as much SQ but it really all depends on the equipment

    Does a capacitor really do anything? I've had people tell me that they dont really help at all.

    Tbh idk lol.. I've heard the same things.. some say they help some say they don't.. but I got it all as a package deal so I figured why the hell not lol..

    I basically got the cap and amp kit for 50 bucks

    Not to thread jack, but Jarrett, with behind the seat set ups there likely is not enough volume to port and not enough space to properly vent the port without port noise

    ^x2 i had one guy swear by them and another guy ssay to stay faaarrrr away from em...


    thanks alex. i was comparing my 10s to a buddy with a 01 pathfinder with 1 10in ported and his seemed to hit a little harder..but doing some really fast double bass his couldnt keep up with mine....
