I've been running my 87 Tow tune all winter and we're finally getting some dry pavement again and I tried a little 0-60 run. It came out to 9.9 seconds! What the heck? I could run it stock in under 8 seconds...
The reason I did the 0-60 was a guy in a stock Chevy 6.0 took me pretty bad at a stop light the other night...

I haven't tried it on my 91 perf tune yet, but I sure hope it would be better... I just can't imagine why It would be 2 seconds slower with any custom tune.

you may ask bill at PHP that question. Other than weight, dirty air and fuel filters would be the only other thing I can think of.

You're running a tune made for towing, not speed.

Yep. I asked the same question over at the PHP forums and they said the same thing. Its a tow tune not a race tune :jester: guess I should've thought about that before racing

Did some back to back runs and get a 10sec 0-60 stock and 9.3 with my tow tune... Hopefully its just the winter blend screwing me over right now. Only other thought is I have 76k miles on stock plugs.... Probably going to have to get those changed this summer

Did a couple runs on my Livewire. It was 8.9 when I had my studded Hankooks on, and got it to 8.8 today. Spinning the tires a bit lol.

I think my 10second junk was bad plugs, misfiring COPs, and possibly the fuel filter. I've also got an extra ~200lbs of junk I'm carrying around all the time.
