Gutting cats?

KY don't give a crap about emissions.

 

It just has to pass a visual inspection. In MO 96 and older dont need emission testing.
A question I have is how much louder would it be, and could I take the muffler off the. Shove a rod or pipe up the exhaust and break it up and then vacuum or blow it out by reving the engine or do I Have to cut it out?

 

cut the cat open with a grinding wheel hollow the cat out and weld up the opening that you cut open

 

That will be the easiest way? I'll ask if my uncle could weld it back up for me
