KA30 CONTINUOUS MEMORY DTC P0232: CHECK FUEL PUMP SECONDARY CIRCUITS NOTE: If Continuous Memory (DTC) P0230 is also present, GO to «KA40». A Continuous Memory Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P0232 indicates that one of the following intermittent conditions has occurred: -- Fuel pump circuit activated when PCM expected circuit to be off (i.e., fuel system test or prime procedure). -- Inertia Fuel Shutoff switch was tripped, then reset. -- Open circuit in or between the fuel pump and FPM circuit at the PCM (refer to Electrical and Vacuum Troubleshooting Manual schematics). -- Poor fuel pump ground. -- FPM or Power-To-Pump circuit short to power. -- Fuel pump relay contacts stuck closed. -- Engine stalls due to excessive load.
I wasn't in it. I just went to it to check on my family since they were 5 blocks away lol. But lifetime warranty ftw. I'll go for it.
Oh man if it is the pump. I've already dropped one fuel tank this year on a Mitsubishi Montero. Took us 2 hours and 10 minutes start to finish. The pump with new "sock" from Airtex we put in went bad day and half later, so says the redneck garage that worked on it after we did.
rough Idling Been having a long time prob with my 2001 F150 V6. Runs good except , after a 30min or so drive , I will stop at a red light and it will idle up and down from 600 or 700 rpm to 500 rpm and truck will vibrate a little and then it will go back to 600 rpm. I can put it in neutral and it will do fine or park and the idle will go to about 800 rpm and run fine. I cannot find a vacuum leak and I have replaced throttle positioner , IAC , cleaned EGR and replaced DPFE. HELP!!!
