    I purchased my 2014 F150 4x4 Supercab 3.5L Ecoboost V6 engine used a few years back.

When I pulled the windows sticker from Ford it reads it had equipment group 301A, XLT convenience group, and XLT Chrome package.

My mirrors did not have heat symbol so I just figured it didn't have them. I noticed the rear defrost/heated mirror button a while back and started to dig into whether or not I have heated mirrors.

I have the button, it illuminates, but the mirrors do not heat up. My mirrors don't have symbols, but when I pulled off glass they have the leads going into glass. No voltage at glass.

Next I checked all three fuses below with the following results.

32 - 40A - Rear window defroster relay power, Heated mirror relay power

    -not broken

54 - 5A - Run/start – 4×4 module. Back-up lamps, Roll stability control /Anti-lock brake system. Trailer tow battery charge relay coll. Rear window defroster relay coll. Front camera washer relay coll (SVT Raptor)

-not broken & voltage on both ends of fuse

    56 - 15A - Heated mirrors

-not broken, no voltage on either side of fuse

I have solid back window without defogger. When I checked there is spot to plug into it and I tried to close that circuit with lead test, still no voltage at fuse 56 after.

    I need help![IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

    Welcome aboard the forum.

The wiring/buttons is there for heated mirrors/rear defrost, just that all trucks did not
get the heated mirrors/rear defrost installed.

The mirrors themselves will have the heated symbol on them if they are the heated ones.

I would get those rodent chewings repaired by slipping heat shrink over the wire first,
then solder it back together. Then move the heat shrink over the repair and heat shrink.
If you haven't soldered before, practice on scrap wire first.

Also there is a freeware program called www.Forscan.org
I've used it to make changes to the "As Built" modules on our 2013 Explorer Police Interceptor.
Turned on Remote Start and Keyless Entry as they were included in the modules from Ford on
    this model.

You can use this freeware to check and see if the heated mirrors are turned on in your truck
by looking at the Passenger Door Module (PDM) and Drivers Door Module (DDM)
Always Save a copy of your "As Built" info before making any changes.
You can find many change codes online just by searching what you are looking for.

Passenger Door Module (PDM) getting B1164 code - Right Mirror Heater Output
    741-03-01 Fxxx (oem A)
    741-12-01 Fxxx (oem 0)

Driver Door Module (DDM) getting B1163 code- Left Mirror Heater Output
    740-03-01 Fxxx (oem A)
    740-12-01 Fxxx (oem 0)

Heated mirrors work, just will have to get a few wires fixed now. I have it at the shop now getting an estimate. Will that program allow you to refresh the computer to get the remote start working?

Ebay has some pretty good aftermarket F150 heated turn
signal mirrors for sale and maybe you can resale your take offs.

On the F150's there is an addon module for them pretty cheap.
    I think MCI makes it.
