Hey all, in order to get custom tunes from PHP I need the HEX code from my truck. You are suppose to be able to plug in the tuner and it should show you the code once you go through some menus, however, mine is not. Does anyone know anywhere on the truck itself that I can get my hex code from?

What tuner do you have? I know on my sct it shows it before I flash the truck. I can also go to info truck info and get all info from there.

hex code or hexidecimal numbers represent four binary digits or bits, and the primary use of hexadecimal notation is a human-friendly representation of binary-coded values in computing and digital electronics, one hexadecimal digit represents a nibble, which is half of an octet, 8 bits, hexadecimal is also commonly used to represent computer memory addresses

i can go into alot more haha

nice explanation Nick. I have a binary clock at my work desk. You wouldn't believe how many programmers walk by and ask what it is.
