    ok I have been having a problem with the truck and I'm not 100% sure what it is. while im in last gear and try to accelerate a little bit without droping gears or keep a constant speed in last gear and start going up a hill the truck starts jolting. I wanted to see what yalls opinions were

    Also I noticed when i punch the gas making a pass on the interstate that the truck hesitates a lot and kind of feels like its misfiring. but all the other time it drives normal

    Sounds like a tranny issue but we need more info. Year and motor

    how many miles on the truck? could need new plugs, brother in laws truck did that. Changed plugs and all good now

    Sounds like your torque converter is going out.

    2004 5.4 not sure what the tranny code is...its an automatic ha. and about 155000 miles

    Thanks...thats what i was thinking it was...any write ups on here for replacing it?

    It's fairly simple. The biggest issue is dropping the trans to gain access to the converter. It's prolly worth the coin and saved headache to have someone do it for ya.
