    Yea anytime I do exterior electric work I sokder, don't want to mess with loose connections.

    Did you wire it right to the reverse circuit without a relay?

    I was planning on using the reverse light wire as the trigger wire for the relay and then running a power wire directly to the battery.

    Not sure how much amperage these lights draw.

    Amps = watts / volts
    About 1.30 amp each light.

    You need either a relay w/ trigger or you can wire them to the trailer reverse light wire w/out relay.

    Can't go no relay to reverse lights, the 12th gen computer will shut down the reverse circuit.

    Last set of pods I did, I set them up w/ a reverse trigger and an interior switch. Diode on the reverse trigger so that when you activate w/ switch you aren't sending unwanted power to the reverse circuit.

    I had mine wired to a 3 way switch so they were either off, on when in reverse, or on from the switch

    You can do both. Just jumper the switch to the relay thats hooked to the reverse light.

    Now I gotta find a spot for the switch lol.

    Not even sure if I have one to use, think I left them on the 7700.

    Got em mounted. Just need to clean the holes in the bumper up with a grinding wheel and make sure they're mounted straight. Gotta wire them up too.
