Thanks, man. Going good so far.

Took me around 10 hours, maybe more, to get everything torn apart and almost everything put back on.

New cams are in place and secured, phasers are on, new chains, tensioners, guides and oil pump. Engine is times properly, bought a $70 tool to make sure the crank was at the right position.

I still have a bunch of work left. Have to reinstall the roller followers, 24 of those, had to buy another special tool for those. $125 but it's money well spent, would be struggling to get the followers out without it. Still need to put a new seal on the front cover, clean the gasket surface, install it on block, all the pullies need to go back on, mount the AC compressor and steering pump and then the valve covers.

Going to try posting a new pictures of the damage that the old chains were causing, having issues uploading though.

You can see the chain was rubbing on both the crank signal wheel and the timing chain cover.

Both tensioners were leaking, the seals blew out.

Now that pictures are uploading, here's 1 fancy ass tool I needed for the repair. Aligns the crank 100%, worth the money, saved a bunch of time.

    Up and running!

Sure my neighbors hate me wrenching at 3:30am haha.

Truck is running, idle definitely changed, much louder. Truck does have some more pull, can't pin point if that's the cam or the fact that my chains are brand new and not all blown out.

I think total time, it took me less than 20 hours to complete.

Gotta call 5* on Monday to get them to readjust my tune for the cam. Should be awesome!

It took you less time to do all that than it's taking me to weld in a new rocker.
