    @dchawk81 What year truck?? I welded my own rocker on to my 2002, was pretty simple.

    I'm glad I didn't decide to lock out the cams. If I had went that route, I would have taken the valve covers off and realized the slack in the chain and had no parts to fix it. Would have been a waste of time.

    I would but I already started chopping. And they're from RockAuto so kind of a PITA/impossible to return.

    I'll get it done, eventually. It's just gonna take more work and patience than expected.

    Since it's a beater at this point I've also decided to spray undercoat instead of color match. It'll be less expensive and hiding the scars will be easier.
