hid upgrades

    I still use regular silverstar bulbs (but have had a bunch of HID's) they just dont do much fir me. I'm not blind as a bat at night I guess :jester:

    Yeah Silverstars are great, I used them for years. I liked them much better than the 6k plug/play HIDs I used to have. I went out on a limb and tried the retro-fit and good lord...never going back.

    Doesn't matter, something wide where you can capture the whole width of the beam with the truck parked ~25 ft from it. Whatever you can get works, don't kill yourself over it :lol:

    Lightforces are awesome for downrange illumination, tough to beat there. Still not nearly the width or uniformity of an HID projector though.

    Yeah, which is why I've got the Mini H1s for my heads :jester: I got the Matchboxes for my fogs too, even though they'll be more for show than anything. All in 6000k too.
