My friend has an 02 and he's got HIDs in heads/fogs and then put 2 offroad HIDs behind his grill. **** is brighter than hell and ice driven in feont of him before and it really doesn't annoy me that much in the rear view. I know that projectors are way better and all but plug n play HIDs aren't always terrible.

    That light output says:
    "Hey State Trooper, notice me!"

I almost never get flashed with my 55w HIDs in my truck. With Lightning style heads.

I get flashed CONSTANTLY on my bike with custom retrofitted projectors.

I don't think projectors look good on tenth gens either usually. Plus I'd rather have my light spread out than that annoying sharp cutoff.

My point being though tht not all hids are bad if they don't have projectors. Maybe stock housings with the diffuses vs clear would suck but if you actually take the time to aim an adjust them they're no more blinding then regular lights on a lifted truck

My friend runs 55w, 5000k HIDs in stock housings with the fluted lenses. His truck also has cranked torsion bars and his front end sits .5-1" higher than the rear. My God it's awful. Most blinding thing ever.
