    the color varies per bulb all ballast are the same they convert 12 volts to 24 volts. yes you could change to 10 k i have 8 ks and there just right not too white and has just a little blue tint to them.

    will someone explain to me how hids work? no one say you just hook em up... i want a technical explanation. necessity of digital ballast, separate hi/low regulator etc.
