    Agree, look for a 7.3L if at all possible.

    Just find a junk yard with a bed from a newer model SD and swap them out. The truck from '99 to day is still practically the same underneath, so most beds from newer models should line up.

    he just test driving for a good 8-10 months then he may narrow it down to 6-8 trucks and after a year and a half he will buy a new truck. hahhahahahahahaha

    haha well i would be buying a 06 fx4 right now....f150..... but with possibilty of plowing... i rather just get a truck to do it...
