Alright so for the past month or so ive been painting and redoing the whole frame and undercarriage of my truck. i stripped all factory undercoating from frame, cleaned it to bare metal and re-undercoated it and put a couple coats of rustoleum black satin paint on it. i also brushed on some de-ruster on the axles, shocks, leafs, hitch, driveshafts, torsion bars, ect. i then put a few coats of paint on them as well to clean up the undercarriage a little. it looks great, i dont have any updated pics right now but i will get some. im just now wondering how it would look if i went over it with a couple coats of red paint? you think it would look shitty? should i stick with just black? looking forward to hearing your guys opinions.
yea i knew i couldnt go wrong with black. im just wondering if red would give it a different look or if it would maybe be overkill. im really just looking for another project haha.
Black. If you do it red its gonna be to much , and look like a kid got happy with some red spray paint.
Red would be bad ass if you were looking to run it as a show truck, black is more practical because it can be dirty without looking out of place.
it all depends on how good you are with paint, how you apply it, ive seen some pics of the progress you made withsome of your frame , i think it looks good black, and you should put more pics up too man!!!
