    4.9 burns a little oil because of the valve seals

    350 ls9 4 bolt main burns some oil
    sm465 4spd
    4:56 rear 14 bolt full float

    my last ford gave out on the interstate and i didn't feel like looking for a engine that was 3 yrs ago 92 f350 dually with regular cab and bed 7.3 idi 5spd 4x4 i sold it for 1200$ it had almost 318,000 when it puked 2 rods through the oil pan

    id be happy with mine crapping out at 300k without any more big issues. not an unrealistic number with a brand new tranny. 5k for a new motor install or 60k fir a new truck... hmmm...
