I need to do plugs also... Hoping to have money set aside at the end of September, wife got a job paying about what I make Cleaned my throttle body a couple weeks ago when I took the JLT off.
I did the plugs myself following an awesome thread on another forum (special thanks to Kozal01 and Goldteam) and I saved myself a lot of money. Be sure to have the Lisle spark plug tool since your truck is a pre-'07 model. I think from '07+ the spark plugs are different and they don't break in the heads. It is quite easy to do on your own.
Did my plugs a while ago and fixed the miss, for a little bit. It's back now at 48,000mi... Thinking I should just replace all the COPs at the same time. I can get a set of Araparts DG511 from amazon for $65. I just don't have any way of figuring out which cylinder is missing right now, it only does it under load.
I'm still getting misfires as well, still have to change that 8th plug that I rounded off. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
