I had to change out my front brake pads and took some pictures!

    You'll need:
13/16" Socket for taking off the wheel
18mm for taking off the brake caliper
13mm for relaxing the brake pads.

Take off the wheel after turning it in, support with jackstands.

Caliper Removed. Take off the two rearmost 18mm bolts. Then use a long screwdriver or prybar to pull the caliper off

Support the caliper! DO NOT let it hang by the brake line

Pull the old brake pads out.

Use a C-Clamp to compress the pads. Your new pads will be thicker than the old ones and won't fit otherwise.

Brake pad Spring. Don't Lose These. They keep the brake pads spread and off the rotor

Installation is the reverse of taking it apart. Make sure to pump the brakes to set the pads, top off brake fluid if needed, and follow proper brake break-in procedure. :waytogo:

Haha I had about 85k on those pads and blew out the passenger caliper. The brakes are a little softer than I like, but I'll get them bled out eventually and fix that.

Thanks. Forgot to mention that the rotors come right off if you're going to swap them out too. No other tools needed.
