The switch on your dash, if that was hidden a bit better. It wouldnt matter if its keyless or not. PLus you should still be able to have the keyless entry or aftermarket/OEM alarm correct?

Yep. I still use my keyless entry, I had the PATS system disabled, and again this mod is NOT for everyone. I just like to be different! LMAO oh and full coverage is nice to have as well, just in case.

If you check out the pic in the 1st post that will tell you which are which. Oh and I'll be honest, I am not a fan of carbed motors. Not sure how you would go about that to be honest.

Nice. I did the pushbutton start, but left the need for the key still there.

I'm gonna revive this thread cause I love the idea. So when I got my truck custom tuned I had MPT disabled the PATS system then I installed a remote start. Will my remote start system still work if I did this? Right now when I remote start the truck I have to get In and turn the key to the run position before I can go do anything or it will shut off. I installed the remote start myself so I know all the wiring so if I have to rewire it it's not a big deal. Thanks

If you follow the steps where he removed the ignition tumbler, you shouldn't need the key anymore, since the truck while view it as being in "RUN" all the time.

That's what I thought. So I should just be able to flip the switch and go then correct?
