hp/torque mods

bringing up the old thread but I am wondering what upgrades are best bang for the buck too. and what programmer or intake is best for a 7.3L

 

From what I've heard sct is a good one and intake idk lol

are most of the performance mods on your truck worth it in your opinion?

for stock tires don't need em really. just towing with ours

 

If I'm not mistaken the stock intakes are rated to 500hp. So why change it? For a tuner sct is where it's at. Get an edge FFS with egt probe so you can see what's going on at all times

 

yeah, sct's name keeps coming up. Also, with 174,000 miles are injectors worth it?

 

Yeah with the right tune injectors are always worth it. Could always upgrade the turbo.

 

any suggestions on a good set of injectors that aren't outrageous?

 

Swamps diesel has some good sets and do does alligator performance
