i usually run my truck on rocket fuel anyway. and i ONLY use dot 9 blinker fluid, i stand by that stuff

 

then your truck may or may not be god

 

You don't know what advancing or retarding the timing does but you're an engine expert.

he rebuilt it..i can justify that cuz i helped but honestly idk what thatd do to my truck either

 

i would leave the timing alone as well. i run level 2 and have only modified the speedometer for my tires. the truck runs a whole lot better, and the programmer opened up some power. the canned tunes are very good in my opinion. i can't comment on changing the shift firmness because of my slush box 5 speed. let us know what settings work well for you, motoman
