one of those wires should be reverse lights also. I tapped into the trailer harness when I installed my aux back up lights. Do you have a chilton manual? They should tell you what wires are where.

I feel a bit stupid now. I just went out and looked at my 7 pin. It has a picture on the cover showing what each pin is, including the reverse lights. Reverse is the auxilary.

Something seems to be wrong with the 12v constant part. I think. I can get reverse lights, and when in reverse I can get brakes and hazards. But when the hazards are on, and working, the right blinker is also going for some odd reason. When not in reverse no part of it works at all. I have it wired so that the 4 pin is plugged into the 4 pin on my truck, and the white reverse wire is hardwired to the orange brake wire of the 7 pin, and the red 12v wire is wired to the black 12v wire of the 7 pin. Any ideas?

Sounds like your hot 12V constant isn't working properly. I'd get a voltmeter and check your trailer plug.

I got it working. I'll post pics and explain what was wrong when I get a chance. The running lights on these second gen recon bars are brighter then the old brake lights. I'm gonna have to swap my side lights over to these 2nd gens as well.
