I need a 12v hot.

    My problem.

    I wired my hot to the black and my reverse to the AUX as shown in this diagram. Either the diagram is incorrect, and the orange and black wires need to be swapped. (wires are correct, colors are not)

    Or, Recon screwed up and mixed up their reverse and 12v wires.

    I swapped my red 12v over to the orange and my white REV over to the black wire and it works correctly.

    possible. Usually when I am working with a diagram like that I look at the pin out instead of wire color, pinout will always be correct wire color not so much.

    glad you got it fixed though

    Does the constant lose power when the key is off? The light bar won't work without the key being turned...

    yes... Its through the ignition so that when you have a trailer hooked up your not going to drain the battery.

    Alright thanks. I'm not too worried about it, but it kinda bugs me that the key has to be turned to have hazards on it. Oh well.

    hazards for trailers are through the turn signal wires.... If you want a true 12v hot "all time" your going to have to run a wire from the battery to the back. I don't believe one exists already back there.
