Ba ha! I've got a tad under 1500 into the drumset, I'm probably not going to see much more than 500.

Ive been lookin at broncos, I haven't written them off completely, I really like the broncos, and a v8 would be nice. I was just shooting for the ranger based vehicles since I had one before. All the broncos I've found so far are haggered. I like the idea of a smaller wheeler. But I'm not opposed to a bronco if I find one.

I'll eventually look into solid axle swaps etc.. I really just want something to work on for more reasons than appearance mods. I thought about doing injectors and turbo upgrades on my truck, but I think I'll have more long term fun and experience with a wheeling project.

Nope, I don't have a 4 wheeler, by wheeler I meant a truck ha ha. When the finances loosen up I'll have to take a vacation ha ha.

Ive been thinking about doing a sport trac if I can find one for a good deal. I'd say if your more familiar with the Ranger platform. Then stick with that and see what you can find.

I'd love to get a hold of a sport trac, it would be perfect. But I can't find one that's a good deal. I'm eying the auctions for one though.

CL has been a little slow. Found a couple good broncos but nothing worth posting at this point. Not even a nibble on my drumkit. Probably going to have to lower the price a bit.

So after talking with my wife and begging for more allowance :jester: (Ba ha, you married folk know what I mean). I'm going to hold out for a sport trac. The idea of a smaller truck I can drive on the weekends and junk appeals to her more so than a bronco. Plus it would make a unique wheeler. My goal is to build it up to be just as capable on road as it is off. It'll be fun and useful! Ha ha.

So here's the one I'm eying, it has 177k on the 4.0. It runs and drives guaranteed, just not guaranteed for how long ha ha. but it will be a salvage title after the rebuild. From the pics it looks like it needs the 2 doors plus a fender. The auction is in 9 days so i have to go out and make sure the a and b pillars aren't damaged. I'm goin to start with the rebuild (obviously) get it registered with the salvage title and inspected. The. Throw the 3 inch bl with 33s and rock that for awhile. I wanna do a SAS with a limited slip up front with a selectable locker in the rear, all time LS with the electronic locker. But i think it may need a motor rebuild/swap. I'd like to do a 5.0 swap out of a 5.0 explorer, but I may just rebuild/replace the 4.0 in order to focus on the suspension. I'd like to get it on 1/2 ton running gear, but keep it on 33s for the time being. What do y'all think?
