Anyone think this would work out? Our airbags exploded up, against the windshield, so the monitor should be ok.

Shoot, I just need a job and a little time. A 19" flatscreen monitor from Walmart is ~$130 and I got the cables behind my radio for the hookups.
    Walmart.com: VIZIO 19" Razor Class LED-LCD 720p 60Hz HDTV, M190VA, Refurbished: TV & Video

    Found a better one.
    15.6" for $90. TV set - 14.8 in x 2.5 in x 11.8 in
    Walmart.com: Coby 15.6" Class LCD 720p 60Hz HDTV, TFTV1525: TV & Video

Would need an inverter for power and a day to cut my dash up :superhack:

EDIT: Screen is waaaayyy too big... That dash panel measures about 10"x17", So I need a screen maybe 6"x12". Time to do some more window shopping lol

In my own imaginary world, where. Respect for wome
Since i had the truck apart for my blower motor resistor install, i decided to take the panel off that you want to mount the monitor onto. there is a bracing support that you might need to replace w/ some flat bar and a few bends to navigate around the headunit. thought i'd share. and don't try to rip it off. there are 2-black #7 screws on the bottom, and 2-ss #7 screws on the interior, just about where the air vent is.

Cuz nobody else has it :jester:

And I could fit a bigger screen than the in-dash unit.
