Ran across this on ebay. If i had the money i'd buy it asap! Fabtech F 150 4.5" Long Travel lift kit 1997-2003 | eBay Its the actual long travel kit with the extended lower control arms. So its made for use not for looks.
ever since i first got my 97 i drooled over that kit but never had the money i'm sure jarrett will talk s*** about it though lol
^ lol only 4.5? I guess that's the lift amount. It still has cools... Ain't no long travel, with my midtravel I'll have13in of travel, uniballs instead of ball joints... YA not worth it. My fabtech lift is better for cheaper lol And boom goes the dynamite.
I doubt it. its probably more about 8-10 really. 10-12 would be maxing out the BJs..or it would be really close. I know a guy who has it. and it has about the same amount of travel as mine but rides softer.
Not trying to start no argument or anything, but i think this kit is designed more for suspension travel and yours is designed for just lift height.
Ya it may, but not much more if any. It still uses the stock cool bucket and unless it's strapped/bumped, running off stock stuff will start tearing the frame and mounts quickly if you use it like it should. Therefore they have to limit travel, also the ball joints will max out a lot faster than my uniballs so essicentiay if I don't strap it, the droop could pop out the spring haha. My new kit will be completly different and a new spring, it will be taller than stock but be a tad softer than stock, it will also have a longer shock for the extended travel. I'll be putting on bumpstops and strap it at like 13in And boom goes the dynamite.
