i really love my truck and want to keep dropping money into it, but i really want a 4x4 f250 and keep my f150 (has priceless value to me really). but if keep it i want to run through my entire truck rebuilding everything while swapping the frame with a 4x4 frame and frnt end trans and eletrical, and when i say rebuild everything i mean build my 4.6 and rebuild the tranny, rear end, front end, and paint the frame and make it look all nice. but itll probably cost 7K but i paid $0 for the truck. so i either wanted to wait and just store this f150 for now and buy a f250 4x4 for 5K or invest 7k into my f150 with 4x4 converted. and please dont say Dont rebuild that 4.6 put in a 5.4 cause i want to keep my 4.6 its been very good to me (195,300 + miles and still strong) . just give me some insight

    NICE F250 4x4 w/ 460
    Super NICE f150 4x4 W/4.6

I say keep it and convert it! I know how you feel on wanting a 4x4, and if you do convert i'll be listening in.

    Keep it.
Find another beat up truck to use as your 4x4 trail rig.

Yea man dont get a 460 as a daily driver. I got one and if you are super careful you will get 10 mpg I average around 7-9 on mine depends on how many startups how long and fast I drive etc. Do what you want but I'm telling u as a owner of a 460 f250 4x4 it will cost a lot to drive. But on the upside they are loud as **** straight piped lol.

Sadly he should get a chevy for one if money is a problem cause chevys are cheaper to work on.
