yeah it took them over a week to get back to me cause they were debating wether or not the frame was bent. the tow truck guy was shocked no airbags were deployed, he said that if the vehicle has over 100,000 miles and airbags go off then they almost always total it. mine only had 128,000 miles on it...
I just find it hard to believe it had that kind of damage. My moms 02 Grand Am with 128k got rear ended. It was on a frame machine for 4 hours and only did 3200 bux worth of damage. I feel like the insurance screwed you out of a good truck.

i think the big problem was the area between the door and the bed was messed up, and i dont think that part comes apart seperatly... so i think it would need a whole new cab, and i think that was the worst part. the thing that rly got me was that it was $13,000 in repairs and i only paid $9,500 for it... i got it with 109,000 miles... it just blows my mind...
That a cab corner and although it is made together, they can be replaced. They do it all the time at bodyshops. I feel for ya bud. It was a good looking truck and I just cant see the damage being that high.
Man that sucks, glad to hear your ok. Those 04-08 deals are out there just gotta find em. Ive seen a couple 04 fx4's on craigslist for under 10k, nice trucks. People need the money and you need a truck so just keep an eye and be patient for the best deal. Once again though glad to hear your okay.
