    honestly i was just glad that i got to go and take all the stuff i put into it out of the truck before the totaled it out, i saved my HID's, raptor lights, back up camera, radio, everything... so whatever next truck i get its all going on that.
    in fact, does anyone know if an aftermarket radio from a 2001 will fit the 2004-2008 models?

    it will, your going to need a different dash kit for it though

    It depends. is it a single or a double din? If its a single din, then when you mount it in the truck, you will mount a cubby underneath it. if its a double din, then there will not be a cubby.

    Sorry to see a good Ford go down.....but make way for a newer 04 and up they are way nicer IMO (I've owned both models)

    i dont either. this is what happened to my truck when i had some chick hit me. it cost about 5k worth of damage.

    why is it always woman drivers....go back and read all of the accident posts its all woman...

    Thanks man... It about broke my heart, and yeah I'm rly hoping to upgrade... Especially for the newer interior...
    How is the gas mileage compared to the 97-03 models?

    the interior is definitely nicer on the 04+ I love my truck but I really like the feel of the newer ones
