    I learned if ya don't let the filter soak up fuel first it won't seal at the lid to filter housing gasket and it will leak like a sieve.

    The filter housing to lid gasket is bevel-cut and the skinny part goes upward.

    I bought a six pack of Racor OEM fuel filters back when they were $16.23 ea. shipped.

    Just wondering.... I didn't see leaving the vehicle running in the stereo installation guide ha ha. I actually thought if anything your suppose to disconnect the batt. Not trying to point the stupid finger ha ha I know you know what yer doing.
