Was showing a buddy of mine how peppy my truck is now whith the gears and getting on it hard! Got rolling pretty fast. Well when we got home ( it's was a short trip) I opened the hood to show him the motor and had coolant all over from my electric fans back. We checked all the hoses and around the block. It appeared to be coming from the radiator. So.... I half to take off the e-fans and make sure it's a hole in the radiator. If it is this will turn into a wright-up on a saleen radiator install! I think it will cost less than 300 for parts and labor. ( Eric will be helping me install it) Y'all have any info on this? I will be researching it, but was wondering if anyone on here had any info J.Wal
Did you get the radiator from the guy on f150online? He had a pretty good price on them. I'm interested in seeing what kinda temp changes you get with this setup.
I got it off eBay. It was listed at 165.00 plus shipping. And I also got the hose of eBay for 12 bucks plus shipping. For both shipped was $244. I was told a stock replacement radiator was around $300 do why not go ahead and get a better one for the money! I have no idea what to expect with temp changes. I will call troyer and see if they have a suggested temp range to change the fans to or if they will be fine at what they are on now, stock temps. J.Wal
