Found a pic of my 1st F150, 06 2x4 stx. I ended up with panther 20s on it for it was all over. It was a clean truck but wanted a 4x4 J.Wal
New dry filter. To clean all you do is put it in the sink with soapy water and rinse clean.... Let dry. No more recharge kits and all that junk with a K&N New on left, K&N on right J.Wal
I was thinking about upgrading to something thats a little more flow thru like that...how much did ya pay?
Ya, to clean it it gives you 3 ways. 1) tap it on a surface to knock dirt loose, cleans 85% 2) vacuum the filter, cleans 95% 3) run water from inside to out, use household soap to assist in cleaning, cleans 100% let dry for 2 -4 hours. J.Wal
yours is a 4.6?? I don't have a problem rechargin my K&N lol since it's only a two sided filter it takes no time. but since you have a cone i can see where it would get annoying. had to recharge my dads filter and cummins has some weird ass filters lol
Ya, I got a 4.6. I wanted to get away from recharge stuff because every time I do it I need the truck and the filter is not dry and ready to install. J.Wal
