Line-x the bed, fog lights, lights behind grille, HIDs?, window tint, e-fans, new shocks, leveling kit, spindles an/or blocks... Moar pics...
i was thinking about an edge programer maybe fogs behind the grill interior leds and idk what else... maybe upgraded injectors?
My buddy just got an Edge CS and he loves it. The display is badass i almost wish i would have got one for the display instead of my SCT. If you want to do interior LEDs, go onto F150forum.com and look up BrowningScrew. He made a thread about all the bulbs you need and where to get them from, including reverse lights, cargo lights, and license plate lights.
cool thanks ill look him up.. whats a good place to get the edge CS from and is the a dash pod for it?
You'd have to do some searching the web for the best price. Any reputable source would be fine, like autoanything.com. There is a dash pod it comes in a dark grey almost black i think. Its like 40 bucks or so. Just do your research and remember if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.
Looks to me like the pod will work for the evolution and cs, but not the cts without and adapter kit.
ya it will can any one with the cs tell me more about putting custom tunes on it? like would it be better for me to buy the one from PHP for that? thanks id look it up but im off to work right now. also if it will alow me to tune 2 trucks at once for instans tune my dads truck but than take out the screen and put it in my truck keeping a tune on both..
PHP no longer makes tunes for our years of trucks. Only the newer ones 04-present. Thats why i went ahead and got the SCT. You cannot run a tune in both trucks at once. That would leave the company out of business. Example, "Hey man ill give you 50 bucks to tune my truck with your tuner and then you can just have it back after." Then another person asks and another, and another, etc until nobody needs to BUY a tuner they can just get a tune from their buddy. Only one truck at a time. As for custom tunes, i went with MPT to tune my truck. It doesnt sound like you have any serious work done to your truck like cold air intake, exhaust, headers, cat delete, supercharger, turbo, gears, etc that you would need a custom tune (correct me if i'm wrong) Just with the CS itself you can use a 87,89, or 91 tune (higher octane=better performance) and you can also adjust tire size, gear ratio, spark in the cylinders, etc. Canned tunes will wake your truck up a lot especially on a 91 tune, so dont listen to the people that say you need a custom tune or nothing at all. Hope this helps.
