just bought a new truck

    i just bought this frankenstein f150 2wd that came with a dana 30 front end and a dana 40 rear end i really dont know what the motor is because the owner said it may be an international v8 it come with a trans and trans case i was gonna put the dana 30 under it to convert it to 4x4 but was wondering what could i get for it at scrap i paid 200 but im really not sure how much i could get out of it

    Honestly you won't get much more than you paid for it. Scrap prices are down right now.

    alright ill get pics after i go back to the farm and i found out they pay 155 a ton and dont the EXT cab weigh around 3tons

    Drain all fluids, remove fuel tank, remove glass, no tire-wheel combos, smash roof line down for "flat car" price, minus seats, plastic trims and interior part's weight for non-recyclable "fluff".
    7 cents a pound.
    My guess is a F150 ext. cab is around 4950lbs minus the stuff mentioned above.

    well if im only gonna get like 280 out of it ill just see about making it a mud truck and do you guys think this dana 30 from a jeep is wide enough
