I wish. It belongs to a good friend of mine, he just recently bought the place. It's not fully setup yet but it's certainly functional. The lift makes things so much easier!

Bumpers are done. Not perfect but they look fantastic until you look really close. I got angry with sanding so the prep work wasn't quite what it should have been.

Still, not bad for rattle can.

Pro tip--don't tip over the stand that your freshly painted bumper is sitting on.

I am painting my bumpers this summer at some point. What exactly did you do to achieve that nice shine? I'm using grey so it probably wont shine as good but still haha

I sanded the old paint down until I got irritated and stopped doing prep work. I then primed it using "sandable primer". Put on a couple coats, let it dry completely, wet sanded it lightly with 600 grit. Laid down some more primer. Let it dry. Sprayed it with a gloss black, did several wet coats. I've found that holding the can too far away results in a more matte look, where as holding it closer helps keep the gloss. Let it dry, and then did several coats of clear.

A lot of that shine came from the gloss black paint, I was really surprised. Seems like most of the " gloss black" you find isn't very glossy. This stuff was.

I dunno if you'll be able to find a gloss grey but use enough clear coat and it should at least have some shine to it.

Yeah I figured if I used some really good clear coat that it would help make it shine. Im using ptm grey so its really only one can of perfect match. Not going to use your regular ol rustoleum grey. Need to find some extra time to do it but with a new boat and new engine its not a priority.

Using the perfect match it should come out pretty good then. I've had good luck with the duplicolor perfect match or whatever they're called products, except for their clear coat, which looked nice at first but turned milky over time.
