    It must be some sort of lightweight steel. The 3 that I've helped people install and the one that was on my SD company truck was more then 30lbs. A lot more then 30lbs matter of fact. Preston's looks like it weighs more then 30lbs just by looking at it.

    Okay for shats and giggles I looked around the webs on info about brush guards. A factory Ford BG weighs 48lbs. The Ranchhand is 135lbs to be exact. I'm calling my buddy that works for Leer when he gets to work today, they sell at least 4 different styles. I want to see what the average weight on a normal BG is...

    Yea I was close....because when i drove to Robertsdale to get it put on...I saw the shipping label and its said 100lbs > 150lbs so I just guesstimated 125. What I love about the Ranch Hand is the damn thing is STOUT. One welded piece...***** does not shake or anything.
