I need 6" lifted leaf springs for my 01.

    Skyjacker makes them

    , theyre 315/ea = $630 (from 4WP)

however I have been told since theyre a basic leaf pack (meaning 4-5 leafs) they tend to sag over time.

so I was told to look into Carrier leaf springs

...which I did, theyre cheaper but theyre in canananda and will cost $175 to ship

    $295/ea = $590 + $40 for U-bolts = $630 + $175 = $805

so does anyone know anybody have any hookups with Carrier, or can anyone get cheaper on em?

OK, I may show my automotive ignorance here, but that kit raises the truck 6 inches? I only ask because I also am needing to replace my leafs springs as well. However I don't need near that much lift. Just a inch or 2 from what the stock leafs give

Get the good ones. You'll be kicking yourself as soon as the skyjacker start sagging. I wonder if you can ship from Canada to someone on the border, eh? Then have them fedex or ups it down to you. If you ship it to a business they'll usually cut a deal also.

300/ea and 165 for shipping. he was also kinda a d.bag, asked wether I have 2wd or 4wd..I asked what the difference is, he said "payload and amount of leafs/angles" I then said but what is the acutal difference, like number of leaves difference, whats the payload difference...etc...all he said was "payload and amount of leafs/angles"

I would in any direction besides Atlas. I had a headache with them when getting my leafs from them. I order a pair which measurements were correct first one sent were incorrect measurements plus +3 inches bigger then ordered. Then after returning them being forced to pay for S&H sent a new pair that only one side had correct measurements. Due to not wanting to pay for S&H and taking a loss by going with the Deaver's which I should of in the beginning. I did some adjusting an got both leaves on, I have not had an sagging problems but do have a creak here an there which doesn't bother me but could others.

Ive heard deavers sag over time..and I do tow a lot/ pull trailers, plus I live in Texas so sending them off to get rearched is out of the question...but if you have had good experiences with them....did you have them add thicker leaves or something?

I kept the atlas spring due to my budget and not taking an extreme loss. However, my buddy has been running Deavers for about 6 years not on his Dmax towing constantly here in CA between the bay area and Tahoe with no sag problems.
