Its been about a year since Ive been on here so here's what i have done so far. I first started with the tiregate that I built during a 3 day weekend: Then I built me a little tool box tray that swings out and stuff: And this past weekend I saw truck with an awesome looking camper top/expedition rack so I decided to build one myself ha And all the projects I've built for it so far has been powder coated Texture Black. For free. And to recap, The tire gate works beautifully, No problems at all, No flexing, No bedside problems, No nothing. Tool box tray, same thing. And the camper top is awesome but I already hate having to crawl up inside of it ha. Oh yeah and this is how I mounted the rack: Just some clamps that are used to holding tool boxes on. They work great! It's rather solid. So far haha. Well thanks for looking and sorry if i took too much of your time.
Holy Christ brother! I wish I had half your welding and fabrication talent. That's f**king awesome. Sweet ride and awesome upgrades!
Thanks guys! I really appreciate it. I bought a jd2 model 32 tube bender last year and have been addicted to it ever since. And ive gotten a lot more comfortable with notching, I used to be god awful at it. I'm definitely done with the rear end now haha, On to the front next!
Thanks man. A question though, would a roof basket on top if the camper top look a little much? As in would it make it look like there's too much going on in the rear of the truck? In still debating that idea..
eh, throw some lights on it, make it looks like the ultimate safari/zombie/lion killer/ eats small children/ yeah it could work
